Located in Longueuil, SOSEQUIPMENT specializes in the rental and sale of lifting and handling equipment. The company also offers its customers equipment repair and maintenance, transportation services, and training to obtain an operator card.
The tow truck driver will be required to perform delivery and tie-down tasks between our workshop in Longueuil and the construction sites where elevation equipment, such as scissor lifts and boom lifts, has been rented. Their days will be spent on the North Shore, in Montreal, and on the South Shore, and occasionally in slightly more distant regions such as: Centre-du-Québec, Mauricie, Estrie, and Quebec City. s
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Inspect the general condition of the vehicle and report any anomalies to the transport dispatch
- Perform the loading and securing of our machinery and equipment onto the trailer
- Drive a dedicated automatic truck (2022) (mainly in the Montreal area)
- Ensure safe transportation that meets standards
- Complete loading documentation (inspection slip, delivery slip and return)
- Ensure delivery is complete and accurate
- Ensure exemplary communication and customer service
- Inspect the general condition of our rental recovery equipment, take photos, if necessary, when equipment breaks down
- Keep your environment clean and safe at all times
- Maintain and clean your service truck to keep our equipment sparkling
- Know and apply road safety rules
Required qualifications (mandatory):
- Live in Quebec
- Valid driver's license, class 3 or 1 or 5
- Good driving record
- Experience in driving 10 or 12-wheel trucks
- Experience in equipment transportation or in the construction field (strong asset)
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Work location and schedule:
- The workplace is on the road, between our Longueuil workshop and the construction sites.
- Schedule Monday to Friday daytime, between 40 and 50 hours depending on the needs of the company.
