 Located in Longueuil, SOSEQUIPMENT specializes in the rental and sale of lifting equipment. The company also offers its customers training, equipment repair and maintenance as well as transportation services.

Class 5 driver with trailer / daily will be called upon to perform delivery and stowage tasks between our Longueuil workshop and the construction sites where lifting equipment such as lifting platforms and cradles have been rented. (North Shore, Montreal and the South Shore and sometimes in slightly more remote areas). In addition to carrying out various special projects, either in our workshop or outside yard.

• The workplace is on the road, on construction sites and at our Longueuil company
• The salary is competitive and scalable according to experience.
• Schedule Monday to Friday, daytime, 40 hours, depending on the needs of the company

Tasks and responsibilities:

Class 5 driver:

• Inspect the general condition of the van and trailer and report any anomalies
• Load and secure our equipment on the trailer
• Carry out deliveries and collections of machinery on construction sites
• Ensure safe transportation, and enforce safety rules and standards
• Complete the loading documentation (inspection form, delivery and return form)
• Ensure delivery is complete and accurate
• Ensure exemplary communication and customer service
• Inspect the general condition of our rental recovery equipment, take photos, if necessary, when equipment breaks down
• Maintain and clean your service truck to keep our equipment sparkling

Special projects in the workshop and yard:

• Cleaning and filling (fuel) of equipment
• Place equipment in the right place in the yard
• Maintain a healthy and clean working environment in the yard
• Push snow pile into backyard to help melt

Required qualifications:

• Knowledge of trailer lashing
• Knowledge or experience in operating machinery
• Basic mechanical skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Autonomous, methodical and organizational skills
• Experience in a similar position (asset)
• Platform, basket, forklift operator card (asset)
• Positive and open-minded

Requirements :

• Have a class 5 driving license (valid)
• Have a good driving record
• Trailer Driving Experience
• Interest in providing excellent customer service
• Resourceful, versatile and excellent sense of observation
• Reliable, responsible, punctuality
