LESSON PLAN
This course is aimed at operators with or without experience who need to inspect and operate a bucket truck safely and in compliance with CNESST requirements and CSA standards.
Training covers daily inspection, operating methods, vehicle stability, danger zones and safe working at height procedures.
We are one approved training organization by the Labor Market Partners Commission, for the purposes of the application of the Act promoting the development and recognition of workforce skills.

- Complete 6-hour training
- Practical assessment: 30 to 45 minutes

- Introduction and current regulations
- Types of aerial work platforms and their features
- Pre-use inspection (structure, controls, hydraulics, stabilizers)
- Conditions of safe use and danger zones
- Stability factors and vehicle positioning
- Using the harness and anchor points
- Ground signaling and communication
- Good practices for working at height
- Parking procedure and vehicle locking
- Theoretical exam with choice of answers
PRACTICAL CONTENT
Complete inspection of the bucket truck before use
Positioning and stabilizing the vehicle
Lifting maneuver and safe positioning
Application of safety instructions at height
Proper use of harness and PPE
Demonstration of practical skills according to current standards
