LESSON PLAN
This course is aimed at operators with or without experience who need to inspect and operate a telescopic forklift (telehandler) in a safe manner and in accordance with current standards.
Training focuses on stability, load capacity, inspection methods, as well as good driving and handling practices on site.
We are one approved training organization by the Labor Market Partners Commission, for the purposes of the application of the Act promoting the development and recognition of workforce skills.

- Reading and interpreting the capacity plate
- Pre-start inspection and check of hydraulic systems

- Good lifting and handling practices
- Parking and maintenance procedures
- Theoretical exam with choice of answers
PRACTICAL CONTENT
Assessment of candidate skills according to:
- Complete inspection of the telescopic handler before use
- Safe lifting, moving and depositing of loads
- Telescopic arm adjustment and load capacity compliance
- Proper use of accessories
- Application of safety instructions and standards in force
